INTELLIGENCE WITH BOUNDARIES
What AI does—and what it never does.
Fteen uses AI to prepare a reviewable draft or estimate. A model cannot decide or save a sensitive outcome on your behalf.
Engineering update: July 13, 20261. Meal analysis
- A selected image may produce approximate ingredient and quantity suggestions.
- Every item, amount, and confidence signal remains reviewable; final nutrition is calculated only after confirmation.
- Low confidence or provider downtime produces a clear manual path.
2. Coach assistance
- The assistant is informational, not a doctor or dietitian.
- Tools are restricted and schema-validated; any write requires an explicit preview and confirmation.
- Allergens, exclusions, and special-state safeguards are enforced outside the model.
3. Data and providers
- Provider credentials never belong in the user app or public page.
- External providers remain disabled until contract, region, retention, and data-use terms are approved.
- Operational records capture safety and cost outcomes without placing raw secrets or images in logs.
4. Accuracy limits
- Output can be incomplete, wrong, or contextually unsuitable.
- Never use an automated estimate for a medical decision or special health condition.
- You can always edit, enter data manually, or skip the feature.
